Rosella Moroni, an Italian parliamentarian called for the abolition of the security decrees introduced by former Interior Minister Matteo Salvini, as well as the rejection of agreements concluded with Libya on immigration.

On Friday, the member of the Italian House of Representatives, said that “this parliamentary majority must completely change immigration policies.” The MP from the “Free and Equal” party added that this should be done through “cancelling security decrees and disgraceful agreements with the Libyan coast guard.”

“Failure to do so means betraying one of the reasons for which we and many of my other colleagues have given confidence to this government so far,” Moroni argued.
