The Libyan Consulate in Tunisia has formed a committee at the Tunis-Carthage International Airport at the headquarters of the Buraq Lines Office to assist the Libyans stranded there.

In a statement, the Consulate called on the stranded nationals to go to the office in order to register them and provide assistance in getting them home.

Hundreds of cars lined up on the Tunisian side of the border are currently waiting for permission to enter Libya, where witnesses from the crossing confirmed that the queues had extended to more than three kilometres in length with little to no information available for those waiting.
