Jordanian Foreign Minister, Ayman Safadi, affirmed on Wednesday his support for all efforts aimed at resolving the Libyan crisis politically.

His remarks came during a meeting with his Moroccan counterpart, Nasser Bourita. The two discussed regional developments, especially efforts to reach a political solution for the Libyan conflict.

According to a tweet by the Jordanian Foreign Ministry, Safadi valued Morocco’s efforts in hosting the Libyan dialogue sessions. These are designed to reach a consensual political solution between Libya’s parties.

“This political settlement will preserve the unity, stability, and security of Libya, protect its sovereignty and territorial integrity, and prevent foreign interference in its affairs,” the tweet read.
