On Monday, the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed that the test results of the last two cases referred to it have been proven negative.

The NCDC had received reports from different hospitals regarding suspected cases of Covid-19 (commonly known as corona virus), including, Abu Sitta Hospital and Tripoli Central Hospital.

“The two samples that were tested in the centers’ laboratories have come back negative,” the center stated Monday, confirming that the patients are free from the disease.

The authorities in Libya took a series of important precautionary measures to tackle the virus after all of Libya’s neighbouring countries have confirmed cases.
