Medical Staff Assaulted in Tripoli, Hospital Calls for Demonstrations

The Department of Communicable Diseases at Tripoli Central Hospital, announced that medical staff would organize a demonstration on Sunday, demanding a minimum means of protection. This comes after the head of the department was assaulted and a team of medical cadres were expelled.

The department called on all medical and non-medical staff, including pharmacists, nurses, technicians, and administrators take part in the demonstration. The department has stated that those taking part would abide by anti-COVID-19 measures, such as social distancing.
