Lamis bin Saad, a member of the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum (LPDF) met the political advisor to the British Embassy in Libya, Benjamin Simpson.

Bin Saad shared a photo of her with Simpson, and stated that she discussed the role of the LPDF in the ongoing political process, and the exit of mercenaries and foreign forces from Libya.
She added that the meeting also dealt with adherence to the 24 December election date specified in the LPDF’s roadmap, and the political empowerment of women.

A French Radio report claimed that the Head of Libya’s Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Mnifi had presented an official request to Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan to withdraw all Syrian mercenaries, and Turkish military experts from Tripoli.

Last month, Al-Mnifi went on an official visit to Turkey, where he met with Erdogan to discuss bilateral relations between Libya and Turkey.

Turkish Presidency sources said the discussions, which were attended by spokesman, Ibrahim Kalin and Foreign Minister, Mevlut Cavusoglu tackled ways to develop Libyan-Turkish relations on all levels.
