WHO: Libya Requires Medical Support to Counter COVID-19

The representative of the World Health Organization in Libya, Mustafa Shuaib, said that Libya is in need of basic medical equipment, such as the PCR device used to identify the Coronavirus, and international support to able to counter the threat.

In exclusive statements to Al-Ain News on Monday, Shuaib said that all measures imposed by the government will not succeed, if citizens do not cooperate with the authorities in following the precautionary measures.

Shuaib added that the recent visit of the WHO delegation to the National Center for Disease Control was positive.
