The Libyan Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research revealed that 60% of students sent with scholarships to study abroad, are not present in the countries where they study.

The Ministry revealed this information when referring to the international scholarships in the second quarter of 2021. It added that this is considered a clear violation of the regulations governing the study abroad program.

The Ministry called on all violating students to adhere to the rules regulating the program, and pointed out that it will not be lenient in its penalties for violators.
