Number of COVID-19 Patients in Libya Rises to 25

Libya’s National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced on Sunday that another Libyan had been infected with Coronavirus, bringing the total number of people infected with the virus in the country to 25.

The statement issued by the Centre stated that out of the 17 most recent cases suspected of being infected, only one had contracted coronavirus.

On April 11, the World Health Organization (WHO) announced that eight patients infected with coronavirus had recovered in Libya, adding that no new cases or deaths had been recorded.
