The Minister of Education of the Government of National Accord said on Tuesday that the National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) received 150 medical masks that were locally manufactured in Libya.

The masks were made by specialists who studied at the National Authority for Technical and Vocational Education.

The chairman of the authority, Adel Zindah, added that they were working round the clock to process 4,000 protective suits and masks to be delivered to the NCDC.

The NCDC reported on Monday that a new COVID-19 patient had been discovered. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 26, including one death and nine recoveries.

Both Libyan governments have taken several precautionary measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the country.
