The Tunisian agricultural grouping ‘Groupement Interprofessionnel des fruits’ (GIFruits), in coordination with the marine carrier TunShip, have organized a direct sea route between the ports of Sfax and Tripoli, beginning Sunday, April 26.

The opening of this route is in anticipation of the upcoming export season of Tunisian crops to Libya. Tunisia’s land borders have been closed with both Algeria and Libya as part of government measures to stop the spread of COVID-19.
