The Libyan Red Crescent in Al-Jmail city, in cooperation with the Libyan National Army (LNA), recovered a number of corpses belonging to Government of National Accord (GNA) fighters. They were reported to have been killed during clashes near Al-Watiya Airbase.

A source in the Red Crescent stated that fourteen bodies had been recovered. The GNA announced on Tuesday that it had lost 34 fighters during the attempt to capture Al-Watiya Airbase from the LNA.
