IOM Provides Assistance To Sebha To Contain COVID-19

The International Organisation for Migration (IOM) announced that it had provided the municipality of Sebha with personal protective equipment (PPE) kits to strengthen the infection, prevention, and control (IPC) capacity of the local health authorities.

“The municipality of Sebha is home to over 53,000 migrants and 26,000 displaced Libyans.” IOM said in a Tweet on Wednesday, adding that “Local communities often face severe constraints in accessing health care services”.
