On Monday, the third edition of the Benghazi International Communication and Digital Economy Expo kicked off at the Hawari Exhibition Ground in Benghazi, running from May 6th to 9th.
Earlier, Libyan Minister of Communications and Informatics, Salem Aldersi, inspected the progress and completion rate of the development phases of the exhibition grounds and new display halls.

In January, French Experts Foundation in Libya held a meeting in Tripoli, to discuss the draft of the National Strategy for Free Zones.
The foundation stated that “key players from various sectors are working on boosting trade, and enhancing economic growth in Libya.”
The foundation added that “the E-nable project is a three-year initiative funded by the European Union and implemented by the French Experts Foundation.” It aims to support the capacities of key Libyan economic institutions for a sustainable, diversified, and digital economy.
The project is geared towards facilitating the transition towards digitalization, and laying the foundations for a dynamic, diverse economy, and a competitive private sector in Libya. This initiative underscores the commitment to promote economic development and technological advancement in Libya, creating opportunities for growth and innovation in the region.
Last month, Chairman of Libya’s National Oil Corporation (NOC), Farhat Bengdara, inaugurated the Technology of Oil & Gas and Sustainable Energy International Conference & Exhibition (TOGSE) in the capital, Tripoli.
Bengdara stressed the significance of scientific research and human resource development in the oil and gas sectors during his opening speech.
During the two-day conference, Bengdara highlighted the restructuring of the Oil Research Center as a priority, aiming to enhance its capabilities and focus on scientific research activities, strengthening the corporation’s branches and subsidiaries in this field.
