On Wednesday, the Libyan High Council of State (HCS) signed a technical cooperation agreement with the French Experts Foundation. The signing ceremony was attended by key officials including the President of the HCS, Mohamed Takala, and the Regional Director of the French Experts Foundation, The French Ambassador to Libya, Mostafa Mihraje, also participated in the event.

The HCS’s media office highlighted that this agreement is part of an ongoing program aimed at developing human resources and capabilities within the council. This initiative, which has been in progress for a year, seeks to improve the efficiency and skill sets of the council’s staff.

The signing event was graced by several notable figures, including Masoud Obaid, the First Deputy of the HCS, members of the HCS, the Cooperation Attaché at the French Embassy, Maxime Post, the Program Director at the French Experts Foundation, along with several directors of various departments and offices within the HCS, and members of the French Experts Foundation, all gathered at the council’s headquarters.

This agreement marks a pivotal step in the ongoing efforts by the Libyan High Council of State to enhance its administrative and operational efficiency. The council, which plays a crucial role in Libya’s political landscape, has been focusing on upskilling its staff to better serve the nation during this transitional period.

The French Experts Foundation, known for its expertise in technical training and capacity building, will provide tailored training programs to the HCS staff. This collaboration underscores the strengthening of Libyan-French relations, particularly in the realm of institutional development and cooperation.

French Ambassador Mostafa Mihraje expressed his optimism about the partnership, noting that it reflects France’s commitment to supporting Libya’s development. He emphasized that such collaborations are vital for fostering sustainable growth and stability in Libya.

As Libya continues to navigate its path towards stability and development, the partnership between the Libyan High Council of State and the French Experts Foundation represents a promising stride in capacity building and institutional strengthening.
