The first-ever Libyan-European Film Festival kicked off in Tripoli last night, marking a significant milestone in cultural collaboration between Libya and the European Union. The event, inaugurated by the EU Ambassador to Libya, Nicola Orlando, was organized in partnership with the General Authority for Cinema, Theatre, and Arts and supported by the embassies of France, Germany, Italy, Malta, and Spain.
“This festival represents a milestone in the cultural partnership between Libya and the EU,” Ambassador Orlando said, emphasizing the importance of cultural exchanges in strengthening ties.
Celebrating Cinema Across Borders
The festival features a series of European films that are open to the public, showcasing the diversity of European cinema. Screenings take place daily at 6:00 PM, offering audiences an opportunity to experience stories from across the continent.
