“This festival represents a milestone in the cultural partnership between Libya and the EU,” Ambassador Orlando said, emphasizing the importance of cultural exchanges in strengthening ties.

Celebrating Cinema Across Borders
The festival features a series of European films that are open to the public, showcasing the diversity of European cinema. Screenings take place daily at 6:00 PM, offering audiences an opportunity to experience stories from across the continent.

The schedule includes:

“L’Arminuta” (Italy) – Sunday, November 24
“Limestone Cowboy” (Malta) – Monday, November 25
“La Alhambra En Juego” (Spain) – Tuesday, November 26
“Cleo” (Germany) – Wednesday, November 27
“Tempête” (France) – Thursday, November 28
Building Cultural Bridges
The festival underscores the EU’s commitment to fostering cultural exchange in Libya, bringing European stories to local audiences while celebrating the shared human experiences that cinema captures.
