The Chairman of the Energy and Natural Resources Committee in the Libyan House of Representatives, Issa Al-Aribi, has praised the Libyan National Army (LNA) for safeguarding Libya’s oil fields and ports, a critical factor in stabilising the oil sector and boosting production levels.
In a recent statement, Al-Aribi commended the dedication of engineers and workers in the oil fields and ports, highlighting their role in achieving record production levels. Libya’s daily crude oil output has recently surpassed 1,405,609 barrels, complemented by 52,633 barrels of condensates.
Al-Aribi stressed the importance of supporting workers in this vital sector, which he described as the backbone of Libya’s national economy. He applauded ongoing efforts to ensure stability and sustainability in oil production, noting its pivotal role in the country’s economic recovery.
The statement also acknowledged the contributions of the armed forces, specifically the Land Forces Chief of Staff, in maintaining security at oil facilities. This security has provided a stable environment, enabling uninterrupted operations and record-breaking production achievements.
Libya’s oil industry, a cornerstone of its economy, continues to demonstrate resilience despite economic and political challenges. Calls for enhanced support to oil sector workers reflect the recognition of their critical contributions to the nation’s growth and stability.
