The 6th Libya Food Exhibition is set to take place from January 26 to 29 at the Tripoli International Fairgrounds, organized by the International Exhibition and Conference Company.

This major event, supported by Libya’s Minister of Economy and Trade, Mohamed Al-Hwaij, and overseen by the General Authority for Exhibitions, underscores Libya’s ambition to position itself as a hub for international trade and collaboration in the food industry.

This year’s exhibition will see participation from 130 foreign companies and 86 Libyan firms, representing 18 countries, including Italy, France, Turkey, the UAE, Tunisia, Sri Lanka, Egypt, Malta, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, India, Vietnam, Russia, Morocco, Germany, and Thailand. The event will focus on industries such as food production, packaging technologies, and the supply and equipping of factories and commercial markets.

The Libya Food Exhibition serves as a vital platform for fostering international and regional cooperation. Minister Al-Hwaij has directed the General Authority for Exhibitions to provide full support to the event organizers and participants, facilitating smooth operations and creating opportunities for meaningful partnerships. One-on-one meetings will be organized between Libyan and international companies to promote networking, share expertise, and strengthen trade ties.

These efforts aim to bridge Libya’s private sector with global markets, fostering opportunities for exports and reinforcing Libya’s role in regional and international commerce. By creating an environment that encourages the exchange of knowledge and innovation, the exhibition seeks to bolster Libya’s economic growth and expand its footprint in the global food industry.
