The General Staff of the Libyan National Army’s Ground Forces announced on Sunday the redeployment of the 152nd Mechanized Infantry Battalion, part of the reinforced Tariq Bin Ziyad Brigade, to new military positions.

In its official statement, the General Staff did not disclose the exact locations of the redeployment but confirmed that the move was carried out under the directives of Lieutenant General Saddam Khalifa Haftar, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Libyan Arab Armed Forces.

The announcement described the redeployment as part of a broader strategy to enhance field presence, strengthen security, and raise combat readiness for future missions assigned to the battalion.

The General Staff also shared a video via its official Facebook page showing military convoys moving toward their new positions, highlighting the army’s emphasis on preparedness and stability across its operational zones.

This development comes as the Libyan National Army continues efforts to consolidate its control, reinforce security, and respond to emerging challenges in Libya’s volatile security environment.
