Benghazi University Acknowledges Parliament’s Role in Health Conference

The University of Benghazi has honored Abdullah Al-Masri Al-Fadeel, Head of the Diwan of the Libyan House of Representatives, in recognition of his continuous support for scientific and academic initiatives.

The Dean of the Faculty of Public Health, Dr. Randa Al-Omrani, presented Al-Fadeel with a commemorative shield during a ceremony acknowledging his role in facilitating the recent scientific conference on “The Role of Public Health in Disease Prevention and Health Promotion in Libya.” The event was organized by the Faculty of Public Health and hosted by the House of Representatives’ Diwan.

Dr. Al-Omrani praised the efforts of the Diwan’s staff in organizing the conference, noting that their professionalism and discipline reflect the high administrative standards of the institution under Al-Fadeel’s leadership.

The ceremony was attended by several notable figures, including Deputy Head of the Diwan Dr. Rasmi Al-Barouin, Director of Legal Affairs and Legal Adviser to the Presidency Ashraf Al-Daws, Media Director and Official Spokesperson of the House of Representatives Abdullah Blehiq, Media Office Director for Medical Colleges Najia Al-Barghathi, and Head of the Diwan’s Medical Clinic Salem Al-Marimi.

The recognition symbolizes appreciation for Al-Fadeel’s strong commitment to supporting scientific activities that advance the role of public health and strengthen the academic sector in Libya.
