Sirt Gulf International Airport has completed a series of aviation security training courses designed to improve staff skills and strengthen safety standards across airport operations. The programmes mark a continued effort to modernise security procedures and upgrade the professional capabilities of airport personnel.
A total of 72 employees took part in the specialised Aviation Security Basics course, which was delivered across four training halls under the supervision of eight certified instructors. The sessions ran for five consecutive days and focused on essential procedures related to safeguarding facilities, preventing security breaches, and ensuring operational readiness.
The airport also organised an additional Security Awareness course, benefiting 60 staff members. The training forms part of the administration’s broader strategy to enhance workforce efficiency and ensure all employees remain aligned with internationally approved aviation safety requirements.
Management at Sirt Gulf International Airport confirmed that such programmes are central to strengthening the airport’s security framework and improving the overall standard of services. Officials emphasised that continuous training is essential to keeping pace with global aviation security protocols and maintaining a safe environment for passengers and crews.
