Libya’s National Development Agency has announced the completion of the administrative building at Sirte Gulf International Airport, describing it as the largest administrative facility among Libyan airports.
The agency said the project forms part of a broader modernization plan for the strategic aviation facility. The building was constructed in a contemporary architectural style under the supervision of the agency’s engineers and in line with modern technical standards designed to support integrated administrative operations.
According to the agency, the new structure is intended to keep pace with developments in Libya’s aviation and operational services sector, while enhancing the airport’s readiness for the next phase of expansion and activity.
Officials noted that the facility will be equipped with high-grade furniture and advanced fittings to create a modern working environment aimed at improving administrative efficiency and institutional performance.
The National Development Agency stressed that the project reflects its commitment to delivering high-quality infrastructure projects that promote sustainability and operational excellence across vital state facilities.
It added that completing the administrative complex aligns with the objectives of Libya Vision 2030 and supports efforts to position Sirte as a modern air gateway capable of advancing development and strengthening institutional capacity across multiple sectors.
