The Libyan embassy in Italy reported that it had reserved an entire hotel in the capital Rome for stranded Libyan citizens.

Through the Embassy’s media office, it has stated that accomodation in more cities would be provided as necessary for those stranded due to the nationwide lockdown.

It added that it is continuing its campaign to help provide for Libyan nationals under these uncertain circumstances by allocating a Whatsapp line to communicate with Libyans throughout Italy.
