Kidnapped Egyptians in Libya Released

The Head of the Security Information Department at the Bani Walid Security Directorate, Abdel Hakim Al-Ghoul, announced that the thirteen Egyptian nationals, who were kidnapped by unknown militias on the main road outside the city, have been successfully freed.

In press statements, Al-Ghoul added that the Public Prosecutor has ordered investigations to be opened into the incident in order to pursue the kidnappers and bring them to justice as soon as possible.

He stated that this came as part of coordination efforts between the Egyptian Intelligence Service and Libyan authorities.
