On Friday, Al-Buraq Air’s first flight from Libya to Egypt, carrying 55 passengers, landed at Egypt’s Borg El Arab International Airport. The flight is part of a series of flights from the Libyan Airline Al-Buraq after the termination of its flights to Egypt.

The authorities at Borg El Arab airport received the plane at the water bridge after which the public relations team provided all the necessary facilities for the passengers to disembark and ensured that passengers were able to complete their quarantine procedures. All incoming passengers had tested negative for COVID-19 via a PCR test.

The authorities stressed the importance of adhering to all precautionary measures to maintain the safety and health of all passengers and airport workers.

There are four weekly flights between Egypt and four Libyan airports, including Benghazi, Tobruk, Al-Abraq, and Mitiga.
