On Friday, the Spokesman of the Libyan National Army (LNA), Major General Ahmed Al-Mismari, said that militias headed by the so-called Albogra and remnants of terrorism council in Benghazi and Derna are planning to blow up the headquarters of the United Nations Mission (UNSMIL) in Tripoli.

“We have monitored and got reliable information that the militias are also planning to blow up public and private headquarters, then they will accuse the LNA of the actions. They will use the slogans of the LNA and pictures of the Commander in Chief and some commanding symbols of the officers,” the statement added.

The LNA called on Libyan citizens in Tripoli and state institutions “to take all measures” to prevent the occurrence of these crimes that threaten state entities and citizens in general.

The LNA held those involved in the political dialogue responsible for combating these crimes.
