Fire Breaks out at Market in Tripoli, 11 Injured

About 11 people were injured in varying degrees as a result of a fire that broke out in the Al-Kuraimia market, located on Dubai Street in southern Tripoli. The fire broke out in a market for household items.

The fire began after the sunset on Tuesday, and according to the ambulance and emergency services, continued until the early hours of Wednesday morning.

The security authorities did not mention the cause of the fire, noting that it is not the first time that this market has caught on fire. Injuries ranged from smoke inhalation to light burns.
