On Wednesday, Minister of State for Economic Affairs Dr. Salama Al-Ghwail visited the Planning Institute in Tripoli, where he held discussions related to sustainable development plans in the South.
During his visit, the minister announced his full readiness to participate and cooperate in the implementation of sustainable development projects nationwide.
He also discussed the possibility of establishing a free economic zone in the south of the country, emphasizing that enhancing the development of the southern region is an economic and strategic necessity for Libya’s stability and security.
The minister also emphasized the government’s keenness to adopt such proposals that aim to promote the country’s economic and security levels, and bring an end to the decade long conflict.
