Libya Announces First Covid-19 Death

The National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) in Libya announced the first death in the country due to Covid-19.

In a statement, the NCDC claimed that its laboratory had analyzed eleven suspected samples and was able to confirm that two tested positive for the virus.

With this announcement, the total number of people infected with the virus in Libya increases to ten, with dozens of people being tested daily.
