A Turkish drone deployed by the Government of National Accord (GNA), carried out airstrikes that killed five civilians, in the Al-Nasmah Region.

Al-Nasmah’s municipality offered its condolences to the families of the victims, which included the director of the municipality’s human resources department, Sheikh Hafiz Omar Al-Sudani.

Libyan National Army (LNA) spokesperson, Ahmed Al-Mismari, showed vehicles that were targeted by Turkish drones. The photos revealed that the vehicles were transporting disintegrator machines from the Al-Nasmah Region.

The Government of National Accord claimed that they had targeted vehicles that were transporting fuel to the LNA.
The GNA military spokesperson declared Western Libya a Military Zone recently, threatening to target LNA supplies.
However since then, civilians transporting goods and foodstuffs between towns have been targeted by GNA UAV strikes, resulting in many casualties.
