On Thursday, President of the Libyan House of Representatives (HOR) Agila Saleh discussed means of reaching a peaceful settlement to the Libyan crisis with Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias.

“I spoke last night with Libyan HOR president Agila Saleh … focus on situation in Libya & need for a peaceful settlement to [the] crisis.” Dendias stated in a Tweet on Friday.

Earlier, the Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff, General Konstantinos Floros, had warned of the consequences if Turkey insisted on provoking Greece in the Aegean Sea and continued to breach the UN arms embargo on Libya.

Floros asked NATO to take a stand against Turkey’s actions in Greece and the violations it committed in Libya.
