On Sunday, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Libyan Government of National Accord (GNA), Ahmed Maiteeq, met with the Ambassador of Spain to Libya, Javier Larache.
During the meeting, the Spanish ambassador emphasized the depth of Libyan-Spanish relations, and the desire of Spanish companies to resume their work in Libya following the resumption of his country’s embassy in Tripoli at the beginning of next year.
Larache invited Maiteeq to visit Spain. In turn, Maiteeq accepted the ambassador’s invitation to visit Spain and affirmed the GNA’s keenness to work on strengthening cooperation relations with Spain in many fields.
Notably, an interactive map issued on Sunday by the international relief company “International SOS” showed that Libya is among the most dangerous countries to visit for security and health reasons.
According to the latest Travel Risk Map, published annually, Libya, Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq, and the Central African Republic are the top five most dangerous places to visit in 2021.
