Libyan Parliament Speaker Visits Guinea

The Speaker of the Libyan Parliament, Ageela Saleh, arrived on Thursday evening in the Guinean capital of Conakry, for a two-day official visit.

Saleh was received by Amadou Damaro Camara, Speaker of the Guinean Parliament. He is due to meet a number of government officials to discuss bilateral issues.

Saleh expressed his desire for assistance from President Alpha Conde, to resolve the Libyan crisis. On the reason for his visit to Conakry, he told reporters that it came at the invitation of President Conde.

“The two parties will benefit from this visit to talk about our diplomatic relations and even about the future,” said Saleh
