In a statement on Facebook, today, the Tobruk Medical Center announced that it is currently being prepared to become the primary quarantine centre for any Covid-19 patients.

The governing council of the municipality of Tobruk expressed its gratitude to the Ministry of Health and the LNA’s Investment Authority for providing them with the necessary funds and equipment needed to do so.

This came after the Eastern based Interim Government distributed essential medical equipment to municipalities in territories it governs in Libya.
