On Monday, Libya’s Oil Minister, Mohamed Aoun expressed his desire to cooperate with Morocco to benefit from its expertise in the field of renewable energy.

This came during Aoun’s and Prime Minister, Abdel-Hamid Dbaiba official visit to the Moroccan capital, Rabat.

Aoun affirmed Libya’s desire for coordination and cooperation with Morocco in the solar energy sector, “in which Morocco has achieved many achievements.”

He added that a memorandum of understanding will be signed with Morocco, to resume its stalled projects that were suspended due to the Libyan crisis.

He also praised Morocco’s support for the resumption of Libya’s oil and gas sector’s activities.
