Deputy Speaker of Libya’s House of Representatives (HoR) Fawzi al-Nuwairi met with US Ambassador to Libya Richard Norland on Monday in Tunisia.

The two discussed the latest developments in Libya. The meeting tackled international peace efforts and the United State’s role to end the Libyan crisis.

The two sides reviewed efforts by the United Nations Special Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) to end the conflict and its role during the coming period, especially after the resignation of the UN Special Envoy to Libya Ghassan Salame.
