The General Authority for Hajj and Umrah Affairs has announced the passing of a Libyan pilgrim in the holy lands today, Monday.
In a statement, the authority clarified that “the deceased is Hajj Muftah Imran Ramadan Mansour, from the Green Mountain Coordination Group 601.”
It is scheduled that “his body will be prayed over in the Grand Mosque in Mecca after completing all procedures, and he will be buried in the Al-Sharaia cemetery.” The Libyan Hajj mission extended their heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased, asking Allah Almighty to shower him with His mercy and grant him a place in His vast paradise.
It is noteworthy that the interim Government of National Unity (GNU) allocated over 500 Hajj spots this season for those affected by Storm Daniel in the city of Derna and some areas of the Green Mountain, as stated by Prime Minister Abdel-Hamid Dbaiba earlier today, Monday.
