Libya’s Misrata International Airport decided on Saturday to ban entry to non-Libyan citizens over fear of COVID-19 infection (commonly known as Coronavirus).

The airport’s administration said that the decision is a precautionary step to prevent the spread of the virus inside Libya’s territory.

Despite the fact that no cases of COVID-19 have officially been detected in Libya, both governments has taken strict preemptive measures to prevent an outbreak in the country.
