The Director General of the Libyan Development and Reconstruction Fund, Engineer Belgasem Khalifa, conducted field visits to monitor the progress of critical infrastructure and development projects in Sulouq and Benghazi, as part of the Fund’s strategy to revitalise and modernise essential public services across the country.
During his visit to Sulouq, Engineer Khalifa inspected the integrated infrastructure project, which includes comprehensive upgrades to roads, drainage systems, utilities, and other core services. The visit aimed to assess the current phase of implementation, ensure the quality of completed work, and identify any challenges faced by the contractor to help maintain the project’s scheduled timeline.
Earlier, the Fund’s Director also inspected the restoration and development project of the Tibesti Hotel, one of Benghazi’s iconic landmarks. The visit focused on evaluating the pace and quality of construction, while reiterating the importance of adhering to project deadlines.
