Libyan Prime Minister Osama Hammad, accompanied by Eng. Belgassem Haftar, Director General of the Reconstruction and Development Fund, conducted an inspection tour of several major infrastructure projects in the city of Ajdabiya.

According to a government statement, the tour included the Central City Bridge project and the Ajdabiya–Tobruk Road Bridge project, with the participation of Hatem Al-Aribi, Director of the Fund’s Projects Department.

During the visit, Hammad reviewed the progress of construction works, which have reached advanced stages and are expected to be inaugurated soon. The projects are designed to improve infrastructure, ease traffic congestion, and facilitate smoother transport between Libyan cities.

Prime Minister Hammad reaffirmed his government’s commitment to supporting and implementing development projects across Libya. He stressed the importance of completing these initiatives on schedule and in line with the highest technical specifications and approved standards, ensuring better infrastructure and higher-quality public services for citizens.

These projects fall under the Reconstruction and Development Fund’s broader plan to implement strategic projects that drive economic growth and enhance the quality of essential services in Ajdabiya and surrounding regions.
