The Brega Company for Marketing Oil announced the arrival of the tanker Gaz Houston at the Benghazi oil terminal, carrying approximately 3,000 tons of liquefied gas. The vessel has officially docked and begun unloading operations as part of ongoing efforts to maintain stable supplies and reinforce distribution networks across eastern Libya.

According to Brega, the shipment aligns with its operational strategy to secure consistent gas availability and meet household and commercial demand without disruption. The company emphasized that the delivery is part of a broader logistical plan aimed at strengthening supply chains and ensuring continuity in fuel and cooking gas distribution.

The announcement comes shortly after the tanker VS Spirit arrived at the Port of Tripoli, where unloading procedures began following the completion of the required legal and technical formalities. The steady arrival of tankers at multiple ports reflects coordinated planning designed to prevent shortages and maintain adequate reserves nationwide.

Earlier this week, the National Oil Corporation reassured citizens that fuel and cooking gas stocks remain at comfortable levels across all Brega storage facilities. The corporation confirmed that shipments are continuing to reach Libyan ports regularly and that the overall supply situation remains stable.
