On Friday, the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov held a telephone conversation with Morocco’s Foreign Minister to discuss the latest developments of Libya’s conflict.

The two top diplomats exchanged views on the problems of Libya, Mali, West Sahara, and a settlement to the Palestinian issue.

The diplomats confirmed the mutual efforts of Moscow and Rabat to deepen political dialogue on key international and regional issues.

It is worthy to mention that the Government of National Accord (GNA) declared a ceasefire on August 21.

The truce was also agreed by the Libyan National Army (LNA), led by Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar.
