New Libyan PM to Present Cabinet to Parliament

Mohamed Hamouda, Spokesman for the newly-elected Libyan Prime Minister, Abdel-Hamid Dbaiba stated that the upcoming government will be formed for a specified period of time, according to the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum (LPDF) roadmap.

Dbaiba will present the formation of his government to the Libyan Parliament to obtain a vote of confidence.

On Monday, the Presidential Council held a meeting with members of the Libyan Parliament representing the south of the country, to discuss the mechanisms for forming a new government.

The meeting was chaired by the Head of the Libyan Presidency Council, Mohamed Al-Mnifi and attended by his deputy, Musa Al-Koni. The participants discussed the mechanisms before presenting them to the Libyan Parliament in its upcoming session.
