State Council President Emphasis’ Libya’s Solidarity with Italy Over Covid-19 Outbreak

The Libyan President of the State Council, Khaled Al Mishri, sent a letter to Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte, expressing Libya’s solidarity with the Italian government and its people in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Al Mishri met with the Italian Ambassador to Libya, Giuseppe Buccino, at the Italian embassy in Tripoli. Al-Mishri extended his condolences to the Italian government over the victims of the virus in Italy, stressing the solidarity of the Libyan government and its people.

The meeting touched on the latest developments in Libya, and the health situation of the two countries in light of the threat of the Covid-19 epidemic, discussing possible joint cooperation on the matter.
