The Libyan Red Crescent branch in Sabratha is preparing to hand over 50 Tunisian citizens to the Zuwara branch in order to repatriate them to Tunisia.

The Tunisian citizens are residents of Sabratha, in the Mlita area, and were given shelter and all necessities by the Red Crescent.

The Libyan National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) announced on Wednesday that Libya had registered two new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total of confirmed cases to 10.

In neighbouring Tunisia, COVID-19 cases stand at about 400.
