Ibrahim Al-Jarari, the Head of the Libyan-Egyptian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, announced the arrival of 44 shipping containers filled with healthcare and sanitation material from the Egyptian port of Damietta to the port of Tobruk.

Al-Jarari stated that more shipments of food, medical supplies, fresh produce and other basic goods are expected. This comes after the land borders between the two nations were sealed and a shipping route was created due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He thanked his Egyptian counterpart for providing these goods during this difficult period.
