NCDC: No New COVID-19 Cases Reported in Libya

On Monday, the Libyan National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced that no new cases of COVID-19 were registered over the past three days, confirming that the latest batch of 82 suspected samples had all tested negative for the virus.

Al Hawari General Hospital in Benghazi confirmed on Thursday that four patients that were being treated for Coronavirus had recovered, and that no new cases had been recorded in Libya’s eastern cities.

On Thursday, the Presidential Council of the Government of National Accord announced the reduction of curfew hours in Libya’s western cities. The new curfew will last from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m, commencing on April 28.

Libya currently has 61 total cases, including 18 recoveries and 2 deaths.
