President Qais Saied of Tunisia and Prime Minister Elias Al-Fakhfakh attended a meeting on the recent developments taking place in Libya.

The meeting reaffirmed that Tunisia rejected any division of Libya and reiterated the need for a Libyan-led solution without foreign interference.

Both the President and the Prime Minister stressed that Tunisia was the country most affected by the situation in Libya, and that the international community should also take into account the damage that has been inflicted on Tunisia and its economy.

A working group was formed by the President to bring together relevant authorities within the Tunisian state in anticipation of any kind emergency on the Libyan-Tunisian border.
