On Thursday, the Libyan National Army (LNA) launched a number of airstrikes targeting sites in the Abu Qrain area, east of Misrata city.

The LNA airstrikes are reported to have struck arms depots and bases for fighters aligned to the Government of National Accord (GNA). Farms being used by these forces in the Quddiyah area, South of Abu Qrain, were also targeted.

These airstrikes are part of the LNA military operation dubbed ‘Ababil Birds’ that aims to capture the capital city of Tripoli from a number of armed groups that currently control it.
