Libya’s Interim PM Calls for Upgrading Services in Sabha City

On Saturday, the Prime Minister of the eastern-based Interim Government, Abdullah Abdul Rahman Al-Thani, called for improving the level of services provided to the residents of the key southern city of Sabha.

This came in a meeting held at the PM’s office in Benghazi, in the attendance of Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Ahiresh, the deputy Prime Minister and Dr. Al-Senussi Saleh, Minister of Industry, in addition to Al-Shawish Abdul Salam Al-Shawish, mayor of Sabha municipality.

The meeting discussed mechanisms to immediately provide all needs, including cooking gas, fuel and food commodities, to the residents of Sabha, in addition to upgrading the level of services provided to them.

The Prime Minister called for paying much attention to the municipality’s water and wastewater facilities and the development of the health sector and other services there.
